...the monster...

OMG! My daughter is seriously in the "terrible two's" stage... but I feel like it started from when she could crawl up until now! Hopefully it doesn't last too long! Ugh. Actually... come to think of it... she's been my biggest challenge since she was conceived! The first five months of my pregnancy was the worst ever. First of all I was pregnant through the entire summer! Ugh never again. I couldn't even take car rides around the corner. Every movement in the car would make me nauseous. I had to lessen my work hours because by the time I got to work, I felt like I needed to go right back home. Like most pregnant women, I couldn't smell ANY of the food that was being cooked otherwise I wouldn't eat it. I probably could've ate Panda Express for nine months straight if Matt let me. And the list goes on and on...

But lately, oh my gosh she's my biggest headache! She seriously is a handful... and I don't ever remember my other two being this crazy! Of course it wouldn't be the same without her... but her little spirit is more than we expected! My other two were really good babies... well, of course not the best kids, but certainly not as bad as this girl. I guess it's just because she's so spoiled. Not only does her grandparents spoil her, but so does her siblings. Nana and Fatboy "baby her" so much and she knows it. She's also completely attached to Matt's sister, Sina. Sina and her husband are pretty much her second parents. Sad to say, we did, and possible still are, go through this phase where she would cry for them late at night. One night, she woke up and cried for almost an hour... it was sad because we, her parents, were both there... but she wasn't crying for us! She was crying for her aunty and uncle. I know, whose kid does that?!?! Oh that's right... ours! :)

But the fun doesn't stop there! My other two kids always knew that pencils, pens, crayons, markers... anything you could write with was only to be used on paper, not the walls or anything else. It's funny because not once did they ever write on anything other than paper... even when they were Shawnee's age... not once. And what does Shawnee do?!?!

Yes... she went there!! This girl knows exactly where to find markers... not washable markers, PERMANENT markers!!... and likes to draw all over her sisters walls. Maybe it's the pretty pink walls we spent hours painting... or all the artwork her aunties put into decorating her sisters room... haven't quite figured out what makes her think that the pink wall is where she's suppose to write!

As much as she drives us crazy... she's truly a blessing. She teaches her siblings love, kindness and even forgiveness. The love that they have between them is unconditional. As much as Nana doesn't like sharing her "big girl stuff" with Shawnee... Nana's always the first one there when Shawnee starts crying. As much as Shawnee hates when her brother even looks at any of her things, Fatboy is always the one "remembering to get one for Shawnee". It's too cute. But I still don't want to even think about what she's going to put me through when she starts school!

At this very moment, her Dad is yelling at her in the bathroom... she stood by the toilet paper and played with it until she got to the end of the roll... any takers???

...past blogs not posted...

So I just finished a blog to post today but as I was going through my "edited" posts and I have a few that never got posted for some reason. So I'm going to post them. Keep in mind, they were written possibly months ago! But they might be interesting to some of you I guess... or at least hope they would be. Enjoy!

Xoxo...

PS
There's a blog that was added to April's blogs... I guess it doesn't switch dates and keeps to the original date I started writing it. Enjoy!

...I'm Obivously Superwoman...

When I say I'm Superwoman I'm referring to what my kids  think  I am. I mean most days I probably am.  But I'm sure I have ...
